Szigligeti Kabócás Olaszrizling

Description

The batch is named after the Kabócás vineyard (meaning cicada), located on the southern side of Antal Hill (Szigliget). The area is shielded on three sides by the hillside, while on the south, the waters of Lake Balaton reflect sunlight onto it. This combination of features makes the site warm and wind-protected, an ideal wintering spot for cicadas, which were not yet common residents in the area when we acquired the vineyard in the early 2000s.
