The Dragon

Description

From the Kisapáti side of Szent György Hill, right next to Taberna Infinito, comes this special selection, sourced from some of the vineyard’s highest plots where the soils are richest in basalt. This unique cuvée was created from three grape varieties: Vulcanus (300 L), Riesling (150 L), and the Szent György Hill’s renowned Rókaluki-dűlő single-vineyard Olaszrizling (50 L).

After reductive, spontaneous fermentation, the wine spent two months in a used 500-liter oak barrel, gaining greater structure and refined texture. The result is an exclusive 500-liter lot that unites the volcanic minerality of the hill with the finest qualities of all three varieties.

A true rarity—worthy of the name “Sárkány” (Dragon).

Clear, bright wine with a pale straw-yellow color and subtle greenish reflections, hinting at its freshness and youth.

Citrus, green apple, and peach are layered with delicate almond and spicy notes, all highlighted by the salty-mineral character of the volcanic soil.

The palate is fresh and vibrant, yet rounded and substantial, with a long and elegant finish.
