Accommodation

We have four guesthouses at the moment and one house which has two separate apartments. Natura, Zsálya, and Tercia are located at the center of the estate, while Diófás and Atelier (which houses the two apartments) are a 10-15 minute walk away. They are open throughout the year, run on solar panels, and are great places to slow down.

Minimum stay: 2 nights

The houses have free WIFI, and a bottle of complementary sparkling wine as our way of welcoming you to Mount Saint George. There is also a curated wine selection, showcasing some of our favourite labels, which you can try and pay for later in the wine shop.

Hobbit, Tercia and Diófás are pet-friendly, but please keep it in mind, that there isn’t an aboundance of hedges on the mountain, so only let your pets out of the house if you are confident that they are not going to wander off. Please also note that pets are not allowed in Natura.

All of our houses are equipped with hair dryer, towels, bedsheets, pots, pans, and all the basic equipment needed for cooking. We also provide coffee and a coffee maker. You can do any shopping you might need in nearby Tapolca, or visit the local market and get to know small producers.

Natura:

This quaint little cottage was the first of our guesthouses and echoes the kind of simplicity with which we approach nature. The ground floor has a small kitchen, a living area, and a bathroom, while the upper story has two bedrooms. The small garden has a tiny pond, and parking space for one car. The restaurant and the wine shop is a stone’s throw away, but you are also very close to the best hiking trails.

Diófás:

This house lets you really stretch out, both mentally and phisically. There aren’t any neighbours to speak of, so you can enjoy your stay under the chestnut trees and let the outside world drift away. Diófás has a kitchen, a dining-living area, a bathroom, and a bedroom on the ground floor, and two more bedrooms upstairs.

Tercia:

Tercia is our newest guesthouse, but it has already become an iconic building of the estate. Located just across from the restaurant, it combines being close the action of daily life on the estate with the unique experience of having a plantation in the yard. The house is arranged in a similar fashion to Diófás, but each of the three bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom.
