Description

Csókaszőlő is a gift every year.

We have around 500 vines of this rare Hungarian variety, which translates into roughly the same number of bottles each year. Csóka is a demanding grape: it yields little and is sensitive to disease and trouble alike. But what it gives in return is something special.

It produces a light-bodied wine with a distinctive character. Fruit-driven on the palate, it has moderate tannins and beautiful acidity, making it both elegant and easy to enjoy.

These few hundred bottles are a treasure to us every year—and a source of great pride.
