Furmint

Description

In recent years, Furmint has become one of the most important grape varieties in Hungary. If there is one variety that is spoken and written about internationally with genuine appreciation, it is undoubtedly Furmint. It represents high quality and can be made into an exceptionally diverse range of wine styles. And while Tokaj is usually the first region that comes to mind when talking about Furmint, it is certainly worth exploring other growing areas as well.

Our own Furmint grows on the volcanic slopes of Szent György Hill, and it has been close to our hearts ever since our first harvest in 2017. The 2022 vintage shows captivating lightness and elegance.
