Lord Sandwich

Description

Lord Sandwich is a natural, sandwich-processed Cabernet Franc. At the bottom, 40% de-stemmed grapes, 20% whole bunch come on top, and the top layer is again 40% de-stemmed grapes. After 3 weeks of thorough hand crushing, it was kept in 500-liter barrels for 1 month, then bottled without sulfurization, filtration, or clarification. Explosively fruity, surprisingly velvety and round despite its young age. It's all pure excitement!
